Who We Are

FELLOWSHIP BAPTIST CHURCH is a New Testament church.

We believe that the true church is a local, visible congregation of baptized believers associated by a covenant of faith and fellowship of the gospel.   We invite you to attend our services and get to know what the Bible has to say about the issues of life.  It is our desire for you to have full assurance of eternal life as God's word promises and to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

HISTORY

The founding pastor was biblically sent by another New Testament Baptist Church as a home missionary to plant a work in the Valley Falls/Central Falls area of Cumberland, Rhode Island.

The first service was in November 1997 at a store front, 180 Broad Street, in Valley Falls/Cumberland, Rhode Island.

On February 8, 1998 Fellowship Baptist Church was organized with a covenant of faith by 10 born-again believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.  By the authority of this New Testament church, its members then called the missionary as its pastor.

The church relocated  to the Berkely section of Cumberland in 2003 where it currently meets.
